Questions
Common questions
Do you work with clients in Lithuania remotely?
Yes. I am based in Albania and work remotely across every market on this site. The practical constraint worth checking before scoping anything time-sensitive is working-hour overlap, not capability.
What language should a brand use in Lithuania?
Lithuanian, an archaic Baltic language unrelated to Estonian and not mutually intelligible with Latvian. Polish and Russian are spoken by minorities. English is strong among professionals, particularly in the fintech sector concentrated in Vilnius.
What advertising rules apply in Lithuania?
The Law on Advertising governs practice, enforced by the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority, with the Competition Council handling unfair competition. Rules on advertising alcohol are among the strictest in the EU, which materially affects hospitality and lifestyle campaigns.
How does invoicing work for a client in Lithuania?
Standard EU reverse charge for B2B, in euro. Administration is efficient and largely digital. For B2B services sold cross-border inside the EU the reverse charge applies (Article 44 of the VAT Directive): the invoice is issued without VAT and the client self-accounts for it under their own VAT number. A valid VIES-registered VAT number on both sides is what makes that work, so it gets confirmed before the engagement starts rather than at invoicing.
Which platforms should a brand in Lithuania prioritise?
Facebook and Instagram lead, with TikTok growing quickly and YouTube strong. LinkedIn has grown alongside the fintech sector and is more useful for B2B here than elsewhere in the Baltics.
How much does brand work for a Lithuanian business cost?
Every engagement is scoped individually, because the work depends on where a brand already is rather than on a package tier. Pricing is agreed in writing before anything starts, and I will tell you if what you need is smaller than what you asked for.
